The entirely handmade automatic movement wasn't just designed to be one of the most accurate in the world, it was also crafted to be a work of art. That's why every gear and moving part was made viewable from the front and back with see-through crystal. Every facet of this incredibly handsome timepiece has been painstakingly handcrafted down to every detail including the graceful, sweeping second hand movement. The uniquely shaped case and buttons are crafted of brushed and polished stainless steel. Of course, it wouldn't be a Marquise without the cabochon crown, fitted with genuine hand cut sapphire gemstones. The handsome ivory crescent shaped face is accentuated by striking roman numerals. And like original mechanical movements designed by inventor John Harwood in 1923, this 35 jewel mechanical automatic rewinding watch never needs batteries and never needs to be wound. It is constantly charging itself with the movement of your body. Chose between luxurious gold or classic stainless steel. Water resistant to 5ATM. Every Steinhausen timepiece comes in a finely crafted felt-lined wood box and includes authentication card with serial number, 2 genuine leather wristbands in black and brown, and of course a one year warranty.
