La Crosse WT-961S Stainless Steel Atomic Watch
The WT-962S features an advanced time-telling mechanism that manages itself, this La Crosse Technology metal watch keeps time with absolute accuracy. Equipped with an small internal antenna, the watch reads a radio signal transmitted from WWVB in Fort Collins, Colorado. The station, in turn, receives its signal from the National Institute of Science and Technology's atomic clock, which is accurate to the 10 billionth of a second.
Transmission is constant and automatic, so the watch adjusts itself, even allowing for changes due to Daylight Savings. It also displays the day of the week, the date, and the month. Customizable settings allow you to set your time zone and choose between a 12- or 24-hour display.
Water-resistant, the watch comes with a metallic butterfly clasp and stainless-steel band that can be adjusted to fit most wrists. The battery should last three years or more--a low-battery indicator signals when to change it.
